I'm a Church Girl.
I used to be a street girl not 'runs girl' though but worldly girl who played Church but never knew Christ before I became a church girl who knows Jesus Christ.
Why the announcement?. When I first opened this blog in 2012, Linda Ikeji was my motivation. I sought to become a Baby Girl with house in Banana Island and be in control of a lot of money. I blogged for passion because I knew someday, I will hit some how some how.
Sometimes later, I met Jesus Christ, like legit met Jesus Christ so I couldn't be posting those badt girls things I had in mind for opening the blog in the first place.
I literally got discouraged. By this time, I already opened a second blog. "fabulousjist.blogspot.com".
Now, I told myself I will maintain this blog and post God's stuff here. If you want regular stuff, go to my second blog. But anytime you come here, it has to do with God's stuff.
All things have their pros and cons yea.
One advantage for me for becoming a church girl is I was able to achieve my goals faster.

Understanding the times - Victoria Abidoye
So, a long time ago, I had an inspiration to write
an article, but I had absolutely no idea how to go about it, but I do now, the
title is UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES.
According to the scripture in 1 chronicles 12:32.
The children of Issachar had the understanding of the times. Understanding the times has a lot to do with foresight, vision, knowing when and what would
happen or should happen, having foreknowledge of events.
One unique attribute/characteristics/trait of the
children of Issachar is they had the time, they knew what Israel ought to do
and this gave them an edge over their brethren, this made them by nature
leaders. They were leaders by virtue of an ability they possess to understand the times and seasons they are in and make appropriate use of it.
The scripture records that all their brethren were
at their command, this means that:
1. Foresight is key everywhere and in everything.
2. When you have foresight, you would be respected, it sort of gives you an
edge, sort of elevates you over and above your peers, colleague, equal.
3. To be a leader, you must have foresight. You must know how to see, learn
to see when and where others don’t.
To achieve number 3 above, you must have quite a number of diligence and
patience, to search further, look closely, don’t overlook things.
To understand the times you
must
1.
Have a secret place. A place to recharge, reboot and bounce back.
2.
Never quit studying and making research
3.
Be dedicated
4.
Be diligent
5.
Not be quick to talk, but be quick to listen.
6.
Have wisdom. If
you don’t have wisdom ask from God. Proverbs 2.6

GOD'S DIVINE INTERRUPTION FINAL PART
How are Y'all,
Finally, I think I would choose this style of blogging because it allows me have time for my personal stuff and blog every now and again.
After my graduation from OAU, I had some time which I used in building the company that God gave to me (RUTHERKING FUMIGATION AND SERVICES) with my amazing team and a very special friend who is dear to my heart.
Then NYSC came, I served in an amazing place (UNESCO, INSTITUTE FOR AFRICAN CULTURE AND INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING, OLUSEGUN OBASANJO PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY) and BOOM...
God brought me back to this same firm as the Personal Assistant/Adminstrative Secretary to the SAN.
The exact same position that the person who stole in my name occupied.
I dont' know if you read the story of Haman and Mordecai in the Bible? That was exactly what happened.
Now, I am sitting on His seat and blogging just like I did when I came in as a Receptionist 7 years ago.
So you see, God allowed that incident which obviously interrupted my plans. He taught me that I needed to trust Him alone as my provider and not put my whole hope in a job and what else; He used that interruption to set me up for a next level and higher order of promotion.
That's my story.

GOD'S DIVINE INTERRUPTION PART 2
Upon leaving the Law Firm and the present reality in my face, I knew I was stuck on God and that's it.
Before I knew, God gave me a scholarship through the "American Women's Club" and that pushed a while until I was in my final year. God kept on providing and giving me divine relationships.
P.S; I also did my bit of working hard anytime I had the opportunity to.
When I was about to end my studies at the prestigeous Obafemi Awolowo University, I was praying hard for God to give me "my own" stuff. I didn't want anyone to ever humiliate me or any of those things again.
Quite frankly, I did not want to work with anyone again.
Faithful God. God came through again and at that point, God gave me "RUTHERKING FUMIGATION AND SERVICES",although the company came through a bedbug infestation on Campus.

GOD'S DIVINE INTERRUPTION PART1
Quite frankly, it feels like starting over again. My life has been overhauled and redefined and what can I say but thank you to God
A brief introduction of me
My name is Ruth Abidoye and I am one of those few people that life came hard at but I stood strong.
Some five years + back, I created this blog because I wanted to make posts and become famous. I had a job at a Law firm as a Receptionist and I had a desktop with free Internet on it.
I basically enjoyed making posts in my spare time at no cost and I got quite popular but lack of consistency kicked me out.
Fast forward till three years, someone stole at the firm and indicted me so I lost the job.
P.S: I use to be a regular church girl (I haven't met Jesus then, but I was fine, no stealing or lieing, just going to church, drinking and doing other things to feel alright) but I AM NOT AND NEVER WILL BE A THIEF.
After this person stole, I was laid off at work and it felt as though my very life has crumbled before my very own eyes.
I cried and appealed to my Boss that I didnt know anything about it but he didn't listen so I had to leave
I left and cried. Now this job was my way of sponsoring myself through school (Obafemi Awolowo University).
Stick by to continue this story of my life and about GOD'S DIVINE INTERRUPTION

Ladies discriminated on the basis of sex in organzations
Recently, I wrote a paper on the "Gender Inequality in Leadership and Organizational Structure"
Women have been oftentimes discriminated in work places and especially in the corporate world. Several ladies have had to resort to sleeping with their Bosses or superiors for promotion and other benefits.
Hardwork has been downplayed and while men are being promoted on the basis of their inputs, women are promoted on the basis of the men they can sleep with.
It doesn't have to be so, we have to make a decision to remain chaste no matter the circumstances.
People should not be discriminated on the basis of their gender. Hardwork should be encouraged among the female folk too. Women should be encouraged to pursue career and be women of integrity.
Christian ladies should not be persecuted at workplace because they say no to sex with their Bosses married or not.
While there is no one to make the move to stop this and this is ever prevalent, let's endeavor to be people of integrity, be bold and courageous.
Be disciplined, whether you are a Christian or not
Having sex for promotion or for job offer is a downplay on your power as a woman, it simply means you look down on your self and you suffer a level of low self esteem.
Wonen should be able to sit and make enlightened decisions with men, Women should not be only in the other room or warming men's bed but should be encouraged to work hard.
What if you gain that job and lose your soul?
But the Bible says, righteousness exalts a nation. A decision to maintain integrity and not defile yourself no matter the pressure will earn you honor both at your workplace and with God.

Protecting your business ideas from armed robbers
An idea could be the start of something great and excellent and the demise of an idea can bring a wreckage to someone's ship. I stumbled on this post on punchng.com today and I thought to share it with my wonderful readers. I think its something gotten from Forbes so y'all want to read it.
Am working on a relationship post to be made last tomorrow so please do well to watch out for it.
Grab a chair, grab popcorn, coke and get ready to learn.
Protecting
your ideas from theft:
As
a business grows, pitching becomes increasingly important. As the business
seeks investors, new clients, or even new employees, a business owner must
repeatedly reveal details about the company to others.
Idea
theft is an ongoing concern for many of these business owners, who see
themselves as having an advantage by being at the forefront of the market. A
competitor could snatch the idea and put it to use themselves, leaving the
business with little recourse.
Interestingly,
however, the top response to this concern is that most people have no interest
in taking someone else’s idea and turning it into a multimillion-dollar
business. This is especially true of investors, whose reputations could be
severely damaged by such behaviour. Those who want to start their own
businesses generally have ideas in spades and are seeking funding to get those
ideas off the ground, just as you are.
Still,
while the vast majority of people aren’t out to steal your idea, it is a
possibility. There are a few steps businesses can take to help prevent theft as
they begin to share their ideas with others.
Avoid revealing too much
One
of the best ways to secure your idea is to only reveal what is necessary. If
you’re pitching an idea to a potential client, give only the details necessary
to convey the idea. It’s not necessary to share every detail of how your
product works, for instance, when you can get the same information across by
revealing the need your product or service fulfils. One exception to this may
be when you’re pitching to investors or lenders, who will likely want to know
everything about your product before taking a financial risk on it.
Use Non-Disclosure
Agreements
A
non-disclosure agreement can help protect your idea before revealing it to
workers or other associates. However, it’s important to note that many
investors will balk at signing an NDA before you speak with them. Since the
balance of power is in their favour, this may be something you’ll have to give
up if you want investors. The same holds true for potential clients. Instead of
requiring a signature, consider simply printing a confidentiality statement on
your business plan.
Apply for a provisional
patent
A
patent can incur far more expense than a start-up is able to pay. During the
process of shopping your idea around, a provisional patent can protect your
idea for the first year. After 12 months, the provisional patent expires,
however, with no option of being extended.
Trademark your name
A
trademark can provide an additional layer of protection, since a company’s name
is often tied closely with its idea. In addition, by establishing a trademark,
you also have added protection in the event a legal issue should arise. The
documentation required to register a trademark can serve as written proof that
your business idea was in the works at a specified time. These dates will be
crucial in establishing the exact date your idea was in the works in the event
someone else tries to dispute this fact.
Research the recipients
Whether
you’re revealing an idea to a potential investor, a possible client, or a
contractor, do your part in researching that person or company prior to your
appointment. Information is so easily available now; a business owner can
determine someone’s reputation before deciding to do business with that person.
Look for any disputes with previous business partners and make sure the person
has established a positive reputation in his or her chosen field.

Ruth Abidoye is back again
Checking through my wonderful old time blog, I realized that I haven't blogged in years on this particular blog. Over the weekend, I made up my mind to restart blogging.
I am sorry that I haven't come through for y'all and I know some of y'all checked up on me severally and gave up on me but I promise y'all that am back and back for good.
I have decided though to moderate this blog so that its only my personal opinions that would be out here and other news/all would be on my secondary blog fabulousjist.blogspot.com
This blog would primarily be for relationship advise, gist, my opinions, reviews on books am studying occasionally
One thing I can promise you is that am definitely passionate about this. But most times, evidence defies passion, especially when you have a passion and you don't have the resources to pull through. I have had phone issues, laptop issues, I have had to complete my University degree so here I am with a little start up resource but I want to continue with the little I have.
Thanks for coming back and please review the blog from time to time.

These signs may mean that your Girlfriend is cheating on you. Watchout!!!
Hello guys!!!
Am about to leak the
secret of some of your girlfriends that are cheating and getting away with it,
and also trying to play you for a fool.
But before then I would
like us to really talk about the kinds of cheating that we girls engage in.
Flirt cheating
FWB cheating
Fling cheat
In most relationships
today, cheating is not really a big deal as some people tagged their
relationship
Open relationship,
open relationship is one in which both
parties are allowed to cheat, double date and haven other partners, also due to
some personal/ emotional reasons, some girls engage in friends with benefit and
cheat on their bf with their friend or maybe male best friends. In some other instances, people cheat without even intending
to do it and we can also call that a “fling”. Whichever way t is done, a cheat
is a cheat and when she tries to play smart with it, I think the guy should
play smart too.
- She Deletes Her Messages: yes! Don’t be deceived when you check your girlfriend’s phone and you don’t find any message except the ones from network providers. She deletes the messages she sent to you, or the ones you sent to her. She moves them to archives or draft. Guy if you see any of this, then you should being suspicious. Though on very exceptional cases, she might have genuine reasons for deleting them.
- She becomes sausy and rude: This is one of the most important sign to look out for in a cheating girlfriend. If she is naturally sausy, it’s a different ball game; you two can work it out. But if all of a sudden, the good, homely, obedient sweetheart becomes suasy, then you should start asking questions.
- She suspects unnecessarily: it is normal for a girlfriend to show signs of jealousy, or a bit of insecurity sometimes, when you give her a cause to, but once your girlfriend begins to show the earlier stated signs and then questions you or suspevts yor every move, she might be doing it for you not to see her own evil act or to divert the suspicion form her to you. You ain’t no fool bruh.
- She becomes super obedient: this is a two way thing. In the early stages 0of her cheating, your girl might want to hide her escapades by trying to be the obedient fool, or she might just be doing it out of guilt. But even at the “obedience”, she still finds her way out of being with you. There’s always an excuse to be somewhere else.
- Divided Attention: some girls are smart enough to keep two relationships, but if you’re the one she’s cheating on, the full attention she was giving you will reduce, because she would be too into the new guy and you’ll find out your ever present girlfriend is no longer around most of the time. Some girls would still play two guys and be at the top of their game.
- Boring Sex: she begins to deny you of sex, (she can’t wait for you to be done, even if she allows). You would keep longing and begging for sex. The variety of positions stop and you might be restricted to just one position (mostly missionary).
- She has other guy’s messages on her phone: Some girls would claim the other guy is just asking her out and she has not agreed. This might be ttrue, but it may be the same thing she’s telling the other guy when he sees your messages.
NOTE:
that she denies you of sex doesn’t necessarily mean she’s cheating, but if it’s
glaring she’s getting it somewhere else, then brows should be raised.
Bro, when your girlfriend’s sentences are conflicting, she passwords her phone (very tight password that she’s not telling you), she starts visiting uncles and aunts in unknown places, and shows any of the signs mentioned before, you have the right to ask her about it. If she doesn’t give a satisfactory explanation, you have the right to walk away if you cannot cope with it.
