Another American tests positive to Ebola few days after Ebola got into America.

Few days after it was confirmed that Ebola is in America, another American tests positive to it.

An American freelance journalist working in Monrovia, Liberia, has tested positive for Ebola, his father said revealed in a statement last night – October 2nd. His name is Ashoka Mukpo & hewent to Liberia when the Ebola outbreak began. -

Despite the fact that he lived there for long and knew the risks of visiting the Country, he still went there believing he could help provide honest perspective from the ground level, his father said in a statement. Ashoka is being evacuated to the USA where he will receive the best possible treatment. The doctors are optimistic about his prognosis.

NBC News hired the 33 year old cameraman earlier this week. After learning he had a fever, he went to the Medecins Sans Frontieres treatment center in Monrovia and quarantined himself.

NBC also informed journalists that he will be flown to the US on a charter flight for treatment.

The rest of the crew, including Dr. Nancy [Snyderman], are being closely monitored and show no symptoms or warning signs. However, in an abundance of caution, we will fly them back on a private charter flight and then they will place themselves under quarantine in the United States for 21 days – which is at the most conservative end of the spectrum of medical guidance.
