Suspected members of the Islamic Sect Boko-Haram attacked villages in Jos on Saturday and Sunday night, killing seven people, residents have said.
The police in Plateau, however, only confirmed the death of two people in one of the attacks. One of the attacks occurred on Sunday night in Jalin, Jos East Local Government Area, leading to the death of two people.
The other attack occurred in a Fulani community in Yelwanshendam, Southern Plateau, on Saturday with five people allegedly killed. While the police confirmed the death of the two people in Jalin, it only acknowledged the attack on Yelwanshendam.
