Golden Chioma, Chairman of the Judiciary Committee of Rivers State House of Assembly who was abducted by unknown gunmen about 7 days ago has regained freedom.
According to reports from Daily Trust, Chioma who was abducted in Diobu area of Port Harcourt regained freedom in the early hours of yesterday.
His release came less than 24 hours after members of the Assembly through a motion appealed to the kidnappers to free him unhurt.
It could not be ascertained if ransom was paid before he regained freedom.
