Recently, The MTN telecommunications Ambassador, Davido bagged the award for best African act at the 2014 BET awards. But there had been speculations surrounding him and Tiwa Savage's performance at the show and where he collected his award. Rumour  had it that they both performed before a group of passer by's and technicians which  resulted in a huge controversy in the african audience. Many said that the african artists should have boycotted the show. But anyways… Davido has finally cleared the air on the matter and said that he didn't claim his award backstage.
