Gunmen abducted Mrs Florentina Paulker, the 77 years old mother of Senator Emmanuel Paulker in Bayelsa State this morning.
It will be recalled that in February 2010, three gunmen abducted Mrs. Paulker, from her home in the Opolo area of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
After the then 73-year old woman had spent eight days in captivity, she was released after a bloody shoot out with her kidnappers, one of whom died.
Paulker who is a member of the ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was elected Senator for the Bayelsa Central constituency of Bayelsa State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2007
