While it is easy to get along with your guy’s male friends, you may find it hard to become friends with his female friends. More often than not, she might come across to you as cold and harsh — that’s because she is rather protective about him and would assess you completely, before she is sure about how you are as a person.
Get details about her from your guy: To begin with, you must ask your guy how she is as a person. But make sure that you don’t sound like a spy while doing so. Tell him that you would really like to know more about her and get as much details about her as possible.
Try and spend some alone time with her: After you’ve got details from your guy, your next move should be to understand her on your own. For this, you need to spend some time with her on your own, sans your guy. While you are with her, don’t restrict your conversations to your guy alone, ask her about her life, what she likes to do etc,. and is there somebody she is interested in. This is important, since you wouldn’t want to find out later that she is interested in your guy as well!
Hang out together: If your guy is going out with his gang of pals (including her) and he calls you over, don’t disagree to it. In fact, you should make it a point to go out with all of them together so that you can become friends with her as well.
Go out on shopping trips together: Nothing makes a woman happier than retail therapy. And what more, if your guy doesn’t want to go around with you for shopping, you have his friend to your rescue. Take her out with you whenever you want to go out shopping. This will also give her enough time to know you well and understand you on her own.
