Rauf Aregbesola gets apostolic support from Bishop David Oyedepo

As flag-bearers of the different political parties put in place strategies on how to win Osun State in the August 9 gubernatorial poll, Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church (aka Winners’ Chapel), Wednesday, said the infrastructural renewal of Governor Rauf Aregbesola were affecting the people positively. Bishop Oyedepo, who made this known during a courtesy call on Aregbesola at the Bola Ige House, Osogbo lauded the administration’s new educational policy, which had culminated in the building of mega schools in the state deserves global applause. He said that “any governance that is producing results and affecting the lives of vast majority of the people, must be deeply appreciated”. According to reports from Tribune, Oyedepo implored the stakeholders to always be at the vanguard of peaceful co-existence The clergy affirmed that “there is nothing like living in peace, working peace and promoting peace”.

See what Oyedepo says; “there is nothing like peace in the whole world. We should always walk towards whatever will promote peace and peaceful co-existence among our people. Let us work for an atmosphere that encourages peace, which engenders growth and development. This is because life is all about promoting the well-being of the people”. He continued, “I deeply appreciate the infrastructural development. Besides, the education revolution is for us a great achievement.I can see the massive road construction going on. This is to the benefit of the people. No policy can remove the roads. I am very impressed”. However, in his remark, Aregbesola disclosed that his administration had no political, religious or tribal preference, stressing that “it is absolutely impossible for me to be a religious fundamentalist owing to my all-faith inclusive background”.
