Tortoise found roaming the streets of California

A Tortoise weighing 150 pounds was caught roaming the streets of California by California police.

The Tortoise named Clark, was spotted near the intersection of Sixth Street and Norwood Place, in the southeastern part of the city, at around 1 p.m. Saturday and retrieved by police.

Some people cornered Clark until officers from Alhambra Police Department arrived.
He was carried by 2 policemen and kept with in a kennel until the Los Angeles County Animal Care arrived and took it away.
Funny enough the creature tried to run from its captors but how can a Tortoise run faster than human beings.
